Annette Gonzalez believes that we, as adults, have the right to have as much time as we need to grieve our parents' passing.  She demonstrates how we need to treasure our parents when they are ill and elderly in order to live happy lives ourselves after they have passed.  She has carried this message internationally through her speaking, writing and website.

Annette has interesting insights into how to manage difficult challenges in caring for elderly, ill parents.  She outlines ways in which to honor our parents after their deaths.

At the age of 60, she captures the deep feelings that surface when caring for parents who are near death.  Her stories are entertaining, informative, and sensitive.  Recipes from her Spanish mother are included within the stories which makes reading her books a unique experience.

Annette's family experiences make her the perfect person to write her book, present workshops and speak at conferences.
